Audio Engineering isn’t all about Rock and Hip-Hop

childrenWhen people think about working with artists in recording studios, the latest rock or hip-hop sensation generally comes to mind. That’s not always the case. I have been working with an artist for the past few years that does not fit into a category people generally consider…unless maybe, they have children.  Yes, Omega Studios records children’s music too!  The artist I have the privilege of working with is Rory. You may know her as host of The Learning Channel’s, “Rory’s Place”. She creates “purely music. Simply for kids.”

You may have attended one of her many live performances at places such as John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington, D.C., Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, Kravis Center for the Arts and guest appearances with the Detroit and Toronto Symphony Orchestras.  If you don’t know who Rory is, you and your children are missing out.
