Accreditations
When evaluating which school is right for your audio career, accreditation should be high on the list. There are other things to consider, however, the accolades received by a school can speak volumes when applying for industry-specific jobs. The Omega Studios’ School of Applied Recording Arts and Sciences is an audio production school accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges(ACCSC) and is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). Also, all programs are approved by MHEC for Veterans Benefits. You may also be qualified for student loans and grants if registered as a full-time student. You can read more about accreditations below.
The Omega Studios’ School continues to expand student services, improve curriculum, and update equipment. The school is now an Avid Certified Training Location, certified to teach Avid’s ProTools system as part of the Audio Production Techniques program. In 2002, the school received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
